Methylococcus  

What you should know:

Methylococcus is a Gram-negative coccus with a capsule. Its sole carbon sources are one-carbon reduced compounds (methane, formaldehyde, methanol), making it a chemoheterotroph.  Such bacteria are often called methylotrophs.
